License

Joist is provided under a license that grants you the right to use the codebase for bootstrapping AWS Organizations infrastructure. You may deploy, modify, and use the generated configurations for any purpose, including commercial projects.

Purpose

Joist is designed to enable immediate instantiation of a complete AWS Organizations structure, including organizational units, accounts, VPC networking, security services, and compute infrastructure. It serves as a bootstrap solution to get you from zero to a production-ready multi-account AWS environment.

No Warranty

This software and the infrastructure configurations it generates are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. You are responsible for reviewing all generated code and ensuring it meets your specific requirements and compliance needs before deploying to any environment.

Limitation of Liability

We shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of this software or the configurations it generates. You are solely responsible for ensuring the security, compliance, and operational integrity of your AWS infrastructure.

Intellectual Property

The Joist codebase and source code are proprietary. The Terraform configurations generated by Joist become your intellectual property to use as you see fit.
